Whistleblower Policy
Purpose
Anyone — investor, developer, vendor, employee, or member of the public — who suspects fraud, corruption, document forgery, insider misconduct, or any other wrongdoing on Qonstruct-Mart may report it under this policy and receive protection.
How to report
- Confidential web form — qonstruct-mart.com/whistleblower
- Email — whistleblower@qonstruct-mart.com (encrypted at rest)
- Phone — +234 800 QM-SAFE (anonymous, no caller-ID stored)
- In-app — Disputes → Report misconduct
Reports may be anonymous — we do not require identifying yourself.
What happens next
- Within one business day, a Head of Legal acknowledges receipt
(where contact details were provided).
- A case is opened and assigned a reference number.
- An independent investigation is conducted. The reporter is updated
if contact details were provided.
- Outcomes are reported to the Board and (in summary form) to the
Trust & Safety Report.
Protection from retaliation
It is grounds for immediate termination and legal action to retaliate against any person who reports in good faith. "Retaliation" includes firing, demotion, account suspension, reduced access, harassment, or any form of intimidation.
This protection applies even where the report turns out to be unfounded, provided the reporter acted in good faith.
Frivolous or malicious reports
Reports that are knowingly false or made in bad faith are themselves a breach of platform terms and will be dealt with under the platform rules.
Confidentiality
The reporter's identity is shared only with the investigators on a strict need-to-know basis. Where law requires disclosure (e.g. court order), the reporter is notified before disclosure where lawful.
